KING OF pop Michael Jackson,

who died in June last year will be singing again. Dozens of songs by the King of pop which have never been heard before, will be released in 10 new albums over the next seven years, starting in November this year. The estate of late pop icon Michael Jackson and Sony Corp. have signed a deal for $250 million to release up to 10 posthumous albums over the next seven years.

The deal between Michael Jackson estate and Sony is one of the most lucrative recording contracts in history. Months after the death of pop king Michael Jackson, $250 million deal set a music-industry record. Since the death of MJ on June 25 last year, Sony has sold an estimated 31 million Jackson albums. Michael Jackson has been with Sony’s Epic label for 30 years.

Michael Jackson’s worldwide fan is now eagerly waiting for the release of late pop star album of never-before-heard material which is expected to release in November. Michael Jackson has millions of fans around the world. Profits from the deal will go into a trust shared by Jackson’s mother and three children.

This Is It choreographer says MJ wanted Gaga as one of his guests at London concerts.

It could have been one of the most bizarre musical hookups in pop history. According to a new interview with Michael Jackson’s choreographer, Travis Payne, the late King of Pop was a big fan of Lady Gaga and had tried to set up a meeting to discuss a possible joint project.

The revelation comes from a video posted on December 30 on YouTube by Amsterdam-based producer/actor Raffles van Exel, who asks Payne which artists MJ was interested in collaborating with before his death last June.

“I gave him a short wish list [of possible collaborators] … and he was like, ‘Sure, they can all come, as long as their schedules permit and it’s not too much of a problem for them,’ ” Payne said of Jackson’s humble response to a suggestion that he reach out to other artists to work with him on his This Is It series of shows in London. “Of course, I suggested Janet, of course Whitney Houston. … Diana Ross and Mariah Carey we talked about. We talked about Missy Elliott. We talked about Usher, of course. We talked about Justin [Timberlake], Celine Dion … Sting, Seal, Bono, Tina Turner. We talked about all these people that I thought were cool but that he liked.”

Then, Payne said he asked Jackson if there was anyone else he wanted to reach out to. “He goes, ‘Lady Gaga.’ I go, ‘Really?’ He goes, ‘Yeah.’ He’s the one who really got me to get into her. He literally told me, ‘You gotta get into her. She’s good.’ So, I started listening to her music more and going on YouTube and looking at her performances, and I was like, ‘He’s right.’ “

Payne did not specify in the video when these conversations took place. He said that last November, he got a call from Lady Gaga and told her the story about the conversation with Jackson. “She got moved by it,” he recalled. A spokesperson for Gaga could not be reached for comment about Payne’s claims.

GRAMMY® winners Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood, and Usher will join together, along with the voice of Michael Jackson, in a moving tribute to Jackson at the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards on Sun. Jan. 31, 8 – 11:30 p.m. ET/PT. This very special GRAMMY Moment will feature the never-before-seen 3-D mini-movie for “Earth Song” that was created by Jackson as the centerpiece of his much anticipated “This Is It” tour, but was never seen by the public prior to this GRAMMY performance.

The 3-D film was created to support the performance of “Earth Song,” an original composition and a No. 1 hit for Jackson. The song has a strong theme about the future of the planet, and Jackson saw it as a unique opportunity to deliver a message to millions of people who would have seen him on tour.

“It was one of the most important portions of the concert tour to Michael and when Michael saw the film for the first time at his last rehearsal, there were tears in his eyes,” according to Ken Ehrlich, GRAMMY co-Executive Producer and longtime Jackson associate, who was also at the rehearsal that night.

“This very special GRAMMY Moment will feature some of our most respected GRAMMY recipients, all of whom have a great love for Michael,” added Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy. “This segment promises to be an emotional highlight of this year’s show, and is sure to join the unique list of amazing performances for which the GRAMMY Awards have become renowned.”

This special segment also represents another GRAMMY technical breakthrough in that it will be the first time a major awards show broadcasts in 3-D. The GRAMMY Awards also were the first awards show to broadcast in high definition and 5.1 surround sound (2003).

So that viewers can enjoy this unique 3-D TV experience at home, CBS and Target have partnered to provide millions of free 3-D GRAMMY Glasses. From Sunday, Jan. 24, through Sunday, Jan. 31, Target stores nationwide will exclusively offer these 3-D GRAMMY Glasses so that fans have the opportunity to see the film that was very personal to Jackson. Additionally, the audience at STAPLES Center will share the 3-D experience, wearing the same glasses as those being worn by viewers at home.

The cause of death on the 50-year-old’s death certificate has been amended to ‘homicide’ after months of speculation. According to the document the King of Pop died from ‘acute Propofol intoxication’ due to an ‘intravenous injection from another’. Murdered: A coroner has officially ruled that singer Michael Jackson’s death on June 25th 2009 was homicide On the original certificate issued on July 7 deputy coroner Cheryl MacWillie refused to give a cause of death. However after further investigations, the certificate was amended and re-released in August by medical examiner Christopher Thomas. It now states the cause of death on 25th June 2009 as ‘homicide’. More…ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER: Love Never Dies… but here’s how I nearly did A source said that the Jackson family are ‘keeping faith with the police’, adding: ‘We still feel that there is more than one person responsible for Michael’s tragic death. ‘Joe won’t give up on getting justice for his son and a lawuit is his focus.’ The news comes after it emerged that the singer’s doctor Conrad Murray is expected to be charged with manslaughter. Enlarge Amended: The singer’s death certificate with ‘homicide’ listed as cause of death (right) as it emerges that Conrad Murray could be charged with manslaughter Dr Murray could be prosecuted for ‘gross negligence’ for his treatment of the pop star during his last hours, police sources said. Murray, a cardiologist, was with the star at his rented Los Angeles mansion in June and tried to revive him when he was found unconscious. Murray already has a Houston law firm building his defence. Police affidavits say he admitted loading up Jackson with Propofol and other drugs in the hours before his death. Miranda Sevcik, a spokeswoman in Houston for Murray and his lawyer, Edward Chernoff, said Friday the doctor had no comment and reiterated that Murray neither prescribed nor administered anything that should have killed Michael Jackson. Jackson died while under Murray’s care as the singer prepared for an ambitious concert schedule. The district attorney’s office is waiting for Los Angeles police to turn over the case before presenting it to a grand jury, the law enforcement source said. ‘Keeping faith’: The Jackson family with Michael’s children at his memorial service last year A spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office, however, denied that any decisions have been made. ‘We have been working closely with the Los Angeles police during the pendency of this investigation,’ spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said. ‘There is no case before us at present and no final decision has been made.’ To prove a charge of involuntary manslaughter, authorities must show there was a reckless action that created a risk of death or great bodily injury. If a doctor is aware of the risk, there might also be an issue of whether the patient knows that risk and decided to take it. A large number of witnesses have been interviewed by police, including those who were present during Jackson’s last days and those who worked with him in preparation for his comeback concert, ‘This Is It’. Authorities have also lined up medical expert witnesses who will testify about the normal standard of care in a situation such as Jackson’s and will give opinions on why Murray’s actions constituted gross negligence, the source said. The police investigation was substantially completed by the end of December, the source said

MICHAEL JACKSON was dead for more than an hour before paramedics arrived at his home, according to a new report.

The Thriller hitmaker died on 25 June (09) at the age of 50 after suffering a cardiac arrest at his rented Holmby Hills home in Los Angeles

The King of Pop’s doctor, Conrad Murray, attempted to resuscitate the singer before paramedics arrived to take the star to hospital.

Murray claimed Jackson was showing some signs of response but, according to the ambulance report from that day, Jackson was dead before they reached the property.

In the detailed report, obtained by Britain’s News Of The World, the medical crew confirm Jackson had stopped breathing, had no pulse and showed no signs of heart activity.

The document goes on to declare that the star’s body showed clear signs of lividity (when blood drains to the bottom of the body after the heart stops) – meaning Jackson had passed away hours earlier.

Doctor Steven Hoefflin, a close friend of Jackson, says, “I’ve spoken to a chief in the fire department who told me Michael was dead when they arrived.

“He had no pulse and was not breathing. They gave him an electro-cardiogram but he was flatlined.
“They say he even had lividity, which meant the blood had sunk to the back, indicating his heart had stopped a couple of hours earlier.

“This is the most important aspect of the report as it means he must have been dead for over an hour, probably longer.”

A week after Michael Jackson’s death, organizers of what would have been a 50-show run at the O2 Arena in London have made significant strides straightening out what one touring executive called “the biggest mess in the history of our business.”

Jackson’s legal and financial affairs will be sorted out during the course of months, if not years. But AEG Live, the promoter of his London shows, isn’t waiting to try to recoup its estimated $30 million-$50 million investment in what would have been the highest-grossing arena engagement.

Billboard’s Full continuing Michael Jackson coverage, including video, charts and more.

AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips says the company is in better shape than many believe. Besides a claim on nonappearance insurance, if there is one, AEG owns video and audio footage of Jackson’s rehearsals, according to its contract with the singer. “People have speculated that this is going to bankrupt our company,” he says. “The truth is it isn’t.”

More than $85 million worth of tickets had been sold for the O2, which is operated by AEG Live parent AEG. Production costs ran between $23 million and $25 million, according to AEG, although other industry sources say the cost was closer to $30 million. And some have estimated that Jackson’s advance on the shows could have been as high as $10 million-$20 million.

But Phillips says part of Jackson’s advance came in the form of AEG paying certain of Jackson’s obligations, as well as Jackson’s housing and living arrangements. Such expenses are “100% recoupable” if insurance pays off, Phillips says.

“We had insurance in place to cover the majority of our hard costs but not lost profits,” Phillips says. “There is a lot of litigation going on in terms of negotiations with vendors. I would say the number [in hard costs] is somewhere probably between $20 million [and] $25 million. It was done out of insurance brokerage Robertson Taylor, and I’m sure since it was Lloyds it was multiple carriers.”

But AEG stands to lose a substantial part of its investment if its insurance policy won’t come into play—and that could depend on the cause of Jackson’s death. “If it was a pre-existing condition or drug- or alcohol-related, a normal cancelation policy would not cover that even if he had passed a medical exam,” an insurance industry source says. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office said that determining the cause of death will require further tests that will take six to eight weeks.

Phillips says talk that Jackson never had a physical, as AEG said he did, is incorrect. “He absolutely, 100% had a close to five-hour physical,” he says. “The carriers flew in a doctor of their choice from New York and he did an extensive battery of tests. We were obviously never privy to the actual medical reports, because this was confidential medical information between the doctor and the patient. However, we were told that he passed with flying colors.”

Had Jackson performed these shows, AEG would have made significant revenue on food and beverage sales, a percentage of merchandise sales that could have totaled up to $15 million and the rental fee that AEG Live would account for to its corporate parent. Phillips declines to release terms of the deal with Jackson, but he says it was better for AEG than the 95%-5% split most superstars receive.

Phillips says AEG can still generate revenue from its audio and video footage of the rehearsals, which it owns under its contract with Jackson. “We own the intellectual property,” he says. “It is our responsibility and fiduciary duty to the estate to monetize as much of these assets as we can under the original contract, because the majority of the profit would go to the estate.”

AEG is also under pressure to book the O2 for some of Jackson’s dates. That’s “the toughest hit,” Phillips says. “We’ll fill in the 2010 dates because the arena’s in such demand. The truth is, July and August are the slowest months of the year in Europe, so maybe 10 of those 27 dates would have been filled anyway.”

But those losses “probably [are] minuscule in comparison to the value of the intellectual property we own,” Phillips says. Arrangements for a release will be made after an executor for Jackson’s estate emerges. Phillips calls the video “some of the most compelling footage in the 21st century, because you’re talking about a star whose light shined brighter than anything else in the universe when it comes to music.”

The footage includes the Tuesday and Wednesday night rehearsals from the week of Jackson’s death. “On Tuesday night he performed and gave me goose bumps,” Phillips says. “It made me realize, jaded entertainment executive that I am, why I do this in the first place. I was asked if I would do this again and the answer is, ‘Hell yes.’ How many times in one’s career are you able to touch greatness?”

Rumors are circulating that AEG could further mitigate its losses by creating a tribute show that uses Jackson’s elaborate stage production, and Phillips says AEG is already receiving calls from interested artists. “We have the most breathtaking production ever created for an arena, and it’s all Michael Jackson’s vision as directed and executed by Kenny Ortega,” he says. “It would be some closure for fans who have nowhere to really express their emotion and are looking for a place.”

The $85 million reportedly in the bank from ticket sales of more than 750,000 will go back to the public in the biggest refund program the concert business has ever seen. The large number of tickets on the resale market, through official and unofficial channels, make the process particularly complex, and perhaps expensive.

On July 1, fans who purchased tickets were directed to MichaelJacksonLive.com for information about how to receive refunds. They’ll be processed by authorized ticketing agencies, including primary ticketing company Ticketmaster and U.K. reseller Viagogo as well as Seatwave. In lieu of a refund, fans can receive souvenir tickets designed by Jackson and printed with a lenticular process that gives them a 3-D look.

Phillips says his next move “is to try to get the images out of my mind of that Thursday I spent at the hospital when Michael died, and telling his kids and his mom. A little healing first. But we have a bunch of tours next year and our business will go on.

Dr. Murray to Cops: I Gave Jackson Propofol

We’ve told you since July 15 police believe Dr. Conrad Murray administered Propofol to Michael Jackson — the drug that killed him. There’s a reason police believe it. Dr. Murray told them.

Two days after Jackson’s death, Dr. Murray told LAPD detectives he administered Propofol to the singer hours before he died … this, according to multiple law enforcement sources.

We’re told Dr. Murray gave Jackson an IV drip of the powerful anesthesia. Police believe Dr. Murray simply wasn’t paying attention when the singer’s heart stopped beating.

Authorities believe Dr. Murray may have actually fallen asleep during the time the drug was administered and may have awakened to find Jackson already dead from heart failure.

An IV drip of Propofol allows a constant, steady infusion of the drug for a period of time determined by the person administering it.

It is considered reckless in the medical community for a doctor to administer an IV drip of Propofol without the patient being monitored by an EKG, which sounds an alarm when the patient’s pulse drops too low. No EKG was found in the house.

Another device — known as a pulse oximeter — is used to determine the oxygen saturation in the patient’s blood. If the patient’s breathing slows to a dangerous level, an alarm alerts the treating physician. Again, no oximeter was found in the house.

IS DR. MURRAY THE MURDERER OF MJ ?

WATH WE NOW ABOUT DR. MURRAY ?

PLEASE TELL US YOUR COMMENT !

A MYSTERIOUS 25-year-old given a front-row seat at Michael Jackson’s memorial service is thought to be the King of Pop’s secret lovechild, it has emerged.

Britain’s Newspaper reveals tearful Omer Bhatti, 25, sat among Jackson’s family during the tribute earlier this month.

It will add to suspicion that he is Jackson’s fourth child.

Jackson reportedly admitted in 2004 that Bhatti was born after a one-night stand 20 years earlier.
The Norwegian is now believed to be seeking a DNA test to discover the truth – and yesterday his parents refused to confirm or deny the claims.

“Make what you like. I don’t want to discuss anything,” his dad Riz Bhatti told the paper.

Both Riz and Omer’s mum Pia worked for Jackson in the US.
Riz is believed to have been a driver and Pia a nanny.

The Newspaper also revealed Bhatti lived at Jackson’s Neverland mansion for several years.
After he was born, the superstar even sent two employees to Oslo to help his mum raise him.

He and Bhatti are reported to have first met in 1996. They remained close right up until the star’s death on June 25 after a long addiction to prescription drugs.

In an interview in 2008, Bhatti said: “Loyalty is the most important thing for me.

“I have contact with Michael, and I think my loyalty to him is the reason we still have our contact.

“He is an unbelievably good human being.”

Today Bhatti is trying to make a name for himself in the world of rap and hip-hop, promoting himself under the stage name O-Bee.

He has remained in LA since the memorial service.

Jermaine Jackson pleads to critics to leave his late brother Michael Jackson alone and why Jermaine wanted his brother buried in Neverland.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES (JULY 20, 2009) FRANCE2 – Three weeks after the death of Michael Jackson, his brother, Jermaine gave an emotional and extensive interview to French television network, France 2 on July 19 (Sunday). Jackson talked about the global impact of the death of the King of Pop, custody issues surrounding his children and whether or not the remaining Jacksons will go on tour.

Addressing rumors that Michael Jackson wasn’t looking healthy just days prior to his death on June 25, Jermaine said, “No, I saw him. We had a big family day a week and a half before and he was there with his kids… he looked energetic, he didn’t look sick, he was very coherent, he was speaking to everyone.”

Regarding custody of Michael Jackson’s three children, Jermaine confirmed his brother’s wishes that the children remain with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson.

“It’s very simple when it comes to the children. The will is what it is, it’s the will from my brother because that’s the way he would have done it, that’s the way he did it. My mother gets fully custody of the children and the children will be fine, they’re with my mother right now and my kids, and anybody that tried to contest this will on any level, whether it’s with the executors, or whether it’s with anything, they’re not living out Michael’s wishes.”

Jermaine is scheduled to attend the “Save the World Awards” in Austria later this week to collect an honor on behalf of his late brother and to perform Charlie Chaplin’s “Smile” which he sang at the July 7 memorial in Los Angeles.
